5K Course
This is a long-time Floppin' Flounder course starting and finishing from the Fish Fry shack. Please familiarize yourself with the course before race day. If you can, incorporate it into your training.
This is an open course meaning there will be cars on the road as well as runners. The course will be well marked and there will be volunteers but it is your responsibility to stay to the right when running with traffic and to the left when running against traffic. Please be courteous and mindful of cars and other runners. We want everyone to be safe!
Turn-by-turn directions:
1. Start on Middle Street, just east of Station 141/2 at the Fish Fry Shack.
2. Proceed up Middle and turn right onto Station 9.
3. Run one block then turn right onto Osceola St.
4. Merge back onto Middle Street, run past the Start/Fish Fry Shack then veer left onto Central Ave.
5. Turn Right onto Station 20 1/2 St.
6. Turn Right on Middle St and back up to the Fish Fry Shack.
7. FINISH: Veer LEFT onto Hennessy and you will see the giant Arch for the finish at the Fish Fry Shack.
